Part # 32-0319 (aka the Robertshaw 780-845) is a 24V ignition module with 1/4" quick connect inlets designed for hot water pressure washers. The ignition module uses solid-state logic and flame sensing technology to perform automatic sensing that ensures proper function. It operates by simultaneously sparking and opening the pilot valve part of the gas valve when the thermostat calls for heat. The main valve part of the gas valve opens when the pilot flame detection ceases ignition sparking. For the length of the heating cycle, the pilot burner flame is constantly monitored at a synchronous frequency. During the heating cycle, if the pilot flame fails, the control will turn off the main valve until the pilot flame is restored. Part # 32-0319 also features a lockout function that provides 90 seconds of spark with a subsequent six minute time delay between ignition attempts. If the pilot flame is not detected after three attempts, the control is locked out for one hour. If there is still a need for heat at the conclusion of the lockout time, the unit will go through the three ignition attempts again. This helps to ensure better operator safety and protection against damage to the pressure washer. Temperature Range: -40°F to 175°F. Spark Rate: 4-15 per second. Maximum Total Current Load: 1.5A.
